Fontbonne Takes First Ever Service Challenge Award

Fontbonne University took home its first-ever St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference SAAC Service Challenge award, becoming just the third school in conference history to win the award. Fontbonne totaled 7940 points this year with a remarkable 6400 points in the second half of the academic season. The Griffins edged out Blackburn College by just 582 points in the closest race in conference history.

Fontbonne University invited Special Olympics to its campus last weekend for a day of volleyball. Student-Athletes from Fontbonne University men's soccer, women's volleyball, softball, and cheer/dance teams welcomed participants from Special Olympics Missouri.

The MacMurray College SAAC collected 566 items for the Jacksonville Food Bank, as part of a two-day Hoops & Helping event last week. Items were donated at both the Highlander men's and women's basketball games on Wednesday and Friday evening.
