The Beavers are under the direction of first-year head coach Kami Vallero. The Beavers picked up their first win in over 20 matches earlier this season when they defeated Fontbonne in a non-conference meeting. Asia Coleman and Gariel Pierce have each notched a conference win this spring in singles play. The doubles team of Erica Bechtold and Gariel Pierce led the team with two wins while Asia Coleman and Fatima Noor teamed up for a win at #3 doubles.

Fontbonne University

One year after taking 3rd place in the tournament the Griffins will be looking to pull off some magic this spring after going 1-4 in conference play. The Griffins secured their first win of the season last weekend when they topped Blackburn 6-3. Mariana Rogers has the talent to compete at #1 with anyone she goes against, putting together a 5-4 dual record this season with two conference victories. Morgan Murphy picked up three wins this season in singles action as well. Rogers has recorded four wins in doubles this spring, teaming with both Bailey Benes and Jordan Sampson.

Greenville University

Greenville is 1-2 in the SLIAC as they begin play this week with two more conference matches on the schedule. The Panthers rolled off three straight wins in last month but have since dropped two straight. Top flight player Bailey Pearce recorded two wins this spring for Greenville while Samantha Siefken had a team-high five wins. Annie Bellinger went undefeated in conference action this spring, at 3-0. The doubles team of Courtney Blaser and Siefken tallied a team-high four wins.

Principia College

Principia was 4-7 overall and 2-3 in the SLIAC this year. They have won 20 SLIAC titles in program history including each of the last two tournaments. Olivia Kaspryzk led Principia with five wins this year while Hallie Jones tallied four victories. The doubles teams of Jones and Kasprzyk and Gracie Buchanan and Dani Lamascolo tied for the team lead with a pair of wins.

Webster University

The Gorloks were 10-4 this season, going undefeated in conference play. They last went undefeated in the conference in the 2016 season and will be looking for their first title since 2015. Monica Behrle is the leader of the team after tallying her fourth straight double-digit win season, going 12-2 this year. She rolled through her #1 opponents during conference play. In fact, the Gorloks went 28-2 against conference opponents this spring. In doubles play Behrle teamed up with Madison Watts to go 11-2 overall while the team of Maggie Federhofer and Sara rice went 4-1.

Westminster College

The Blue Jays were 7-2 overall this year and 4-1 in conference play. They come into the tournament on a five-match winning streak and are the #2 seed in the tournament, earning a first-round bye. Last year's SLIAC Newcomer of the Year, Clara Baldwin, is once again the focal point of the team; going 6-3 overall this season and picking up five of the wins at #1 singles. Laural Royer and Natalie Tiffany both reached the six-win mark this season as well. The doubles team of Baldwin and Alexa McPherson racked up a team-high four wins.
