Three Earn Women's Basketball All-Region Honors

Three players from the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference have earned All-Region honors from D3hoops.com for the 2022-23 season; Julie Baudendistel, Annette Ramirez, and Sydney Hannam. This marks the first time in conference history that three players have earned All-Region honors in the same season.

Baudendistel was a Third Team All-Region selection after averaging 15.1 points and 6.4 rebounds per game this season. She ranked 4th in rebounds, 4th in steals, 8th in field goal percentage, and 10th in three-point field goals among SLIAC players. She was named First Team All-Conference for the second straight season. This is the second time in her career that Baudendistel has been named All-Region, following her First Team selection in 2020-21.

Ramirez picks up Second Team All-Region honors after being named First Team All-Conference and the SLIAC Player of the Year. The sophomore guard led the conference in scoring at 19.8 points per game, reaching double figures in scoring in 25 of 28 games this season including a pair of 30-point outings. She knocked down a league-high 51 three-pointers this year and added 5.2 rebounds per game and 58 assists with 42 steals.

Hannam, a senior guard, was a Third Team selection after averaging 18.7 points per game. She ranked 1st in the league in free throws made and 5th in three-point field goals while adding 39 steals and 38 assists. Hannam reached double digits in scoring in all but two games with a conference-high of 43 points this season.
