Blackburn Paces Field Of SLIAC Teams

Blackburn College paced a field of St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference teams at the Illinois College McNaughton Memorial. The Beavers placed 3rd in a field of 12 teams that featured five conference members.

The Beavers finished with a round of 304, marking their best score this season as teams are just one week away from the SLIAC Championship. Jordan McMillen led Blackburn with a 74, tying for 5th place individually. Anthony Harper and Trenton Easley each turned in a 76, tying for 10th place.

Iowa Wesleyan University tied for 4th with a 308 as Kiley Miller finished 2nd overall with a 72. Michael Neff tied for 3rd with a 73 to give the Tigers two top five finishers.

MacMurray College finished 6th with a 319 and were led by Jacob Hierlmeier's 76, tying for 10th overall. Fontbonne University was 7th as a team with a 320 and were led by Zach Goers' 77 while Greenville College finished 11th with a 400 and were led by Tyler Thorpe's round of 88.
