ELSAH, Ill. - Principia College placed three cross country runners on the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Midwest Region team following last weekend's NCAA Midwest Regional Championships hosted by Augustana College (Ill.). Wylie Mangelsdorf and Drew Clark were both named to the Men's Cross Country All-Midwest Region team, while Casey Powell was the lone female runner from the SLIAC to earn the honor.

Mangelsdorf was the top finisher for Principia and the SLIAC with a time of 25:29.9 on the 8K course. He placed 20th overall and also qualified to run at the 2011 NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championshps on Saturday, November 19, at the Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne, Wis.
