Kouchi Repeats as All-American

Nina Kouchi, who has an abundance of awards to her name during her time as a Grinnell College women's golfer, has added another one.

Today, Kouchi was named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-America Team for the second year in a row. Like last year, she was selected to the second unit. Just Monday, Kouchi collected All-Central Region honors from the WGCA for the second year in a row.

Kouchi finished the 2019-20 campaign with a 74.56 stroke average, which ranks second all-time at Grinnell. In five outings during the season, Kouchi won three titles including the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) championship. Her efforts helped the Pioneers to the SLIAC team title.

Kouchi also won individual crowns at the Highland Classic and Knox Women's Invite. She had a round of 70 at the Highland meet, a score that ranks second in program history.
