Westminster Women's Basketball Makes WBCA Honor Roll

Fulton, Mo. – The Westminster College women's basketball squad has placed 13th nationally in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Academic Top 25 NCAA Division III Team Honor Roll for the 2011-12 season.

The Blue Jays, who set a single-season school record with 22 wins, captured the school's second St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) title, won the school's first SLIAC tournament title and advanced to the NCAA Division III tournament for the first time in the 20-year history of the women's basketball program this past season, compiled a 3.503 team grade point average.

This is the second time in three seasons that the Westminster College women have placed. The team finished 24th in the 2009-10 WBCA Team Honor Roll.
