Stafford Named D3hoops.com All-Region
D3hoops.com released its All-Region Team today and Fontbonne University women's basketball player, Rylee Stafford, was named to the All-Central Region Third Team for the first time in her career.
Stafford, a Jackson, Mo., native, earned SLIAC Player of the Year and All-Conference First Team honors after averaging a career-high 16.5 points, shooting 40.6 percent from the floor, 35.1 percent from downtown, and a career-best 80.9 percent from the free-throw line.
She became the eighth player all-time at Fontbonne to reach 1,000 career points. In the record books for a single-season at Fontbonne, Stafford ranks first in 3-pointers made (80), sixth in points per game, seventh in total points (428), and 10th in free throw percentage.
In her career, Stafford ranks seventh all-time at Fontbonne with 1,054 points. She's averaging 13.9 points on a 38.9 field goal percentage and ranks fourth all-time with 177 3-pointers made.
