The Greenville University men's track and field program continued its dominance at the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship, winning the 2022 title, and the program's fifth consecutive championship. Greenville tallied 345 points in the meet, the third most points in championship history.

The Panthers kept their title streak alive thanks to 11 individual golds as well gold in both relay events. The Panthers collected 33 total medals on the weekend; sweeping three events and filling the podium on the pole vaults, hammer, and shot put. 

Dylan Webster collected five medals individually for the Panthers. He took home gold in both the high jump and long jump and added silver in the 110 hurdles and pole vault, and bronze in the triple jump. The five medals tie a conference championship record set by Matt Hughes, from Greenville, in 2018. Nate Brown was also a multiple gold medalist for the Panthers, winning both the discus and shot put with new championship records. Brown shattered the conference championship mark in the shot put with a distance of 159'3", more than seven feet further than the previous record he set in 2019. His distance of 47'3.75" in the shot put bested the previous mark by nearly one foot. 

Other gold medal winners for the Panthers were Wesley Kile (Pole Vault), Ben Schuette (Hammer), Eli Atkins (10,000 Meters), Gianni Estrada (5,000 Meters), Kaleb Carlson (1500 Meters), CJ Anderson (100 Meters), and Dylan Goodyear (3000 Steeplechase). Kile's gold in the pole vault set a new championship record with his 14'11" mark. The Panthers 4x100 relay team of Chase LaTouche, Carson Rantanen, Jared Beyers, and CJ Anderson also joined the list of record-breakers with a time of 42.05 seconds.

Webster University saw Kaelin Triggs and Armond Williams pick up gold medals. Williams won the 110 hurdles in a time of 16.23 seconds while Triggs was golden in the 800 meters with a time of 1:56.17. In addition Cameron Sakuma coasted to gold in the 10,000-meter run. The Gorloks had a total of 11 medals at the championship and finished second overall with 88 total team points. 

Principia College took home four golds and finished with 75 team points. Competing at his first championship, Tobin Blair took home gold in the javelin with a distance of 165'00". Corey Carter collected his 6th career gold, winning the 200-meter dash in 21.57 seconds. Mitchell Gill (400 meters) and Josh Aleman (400-meter hurdles) also stood atop the podium with gold. 

Westminster totaled 70 points, picking up seven total medals. Devonte Hubbard captured three medals including gold in the triple jump where he set a championship record mark of 46'10.25". His gold medal was the Blue Jays' first ever at the SLIAC Championship. Hubbard also placed second in the high jump and third in the long jump. 

Spalding University finished with 25 team points. Peter McGowan had four of those points with his 4th place finish in the 3000-meter steeplechase and tied for the highest finish by a Golden Eagle by placing second in the 5000-meter run. His teammate Noah McClellan also took second while competing in the 1500-meter run.

Fontbonne University collected two team points, placing 6th in the championship. KeYonn Hall-Baker compete in five events and had his team's highest individual showing, placing 7th in the high jump.

Eureka College did not garner any team points but saw Javier Garcia and Hayden Skaggs compete in the 1500-meter run with Garcia finishing 9th.
