SLIAC/DIAMOND SPORTS HITTER OF THE WEEK - MARCH 6 Blake Strebler, a junior for Westminster College, is the SLIAC/Diamond Sports Baseball Hitter of the Week after being a part of the Blue Jays' offensive explosion in a double header sweep of Robert Morris-Springfield. Strebler reached base in every plate appearance on the day, going 5-for-5 at the plate while also drawing a walk. In game he was 3-for-3 with four runs scored, a home run, and two runs batted in. In game two he picked up two more hits, both home runs, while driving in five. On the day he finished with seven runs scored, three home runs, and seven runs batted in. |

SLIAC/DIAMOND SPORTS PITCHER OF THE WEEK - MARCH 6 Jimi Keating, a pitcher for Spalding University, is this week's SLIAC/Diamond Sports Pitcher of the Week. Keating notched his third win of the season in a 2-1 victory over Anderson. Keating went 8 2/3 of scoreless innings before giving way and allowing a late run. Keating allowed just four hits in the game while striking out seven.
