Glixman Sisters Earn Jewish Sports Review All-American Honors

ST. LOUIS - Fontbonne University freshman softball players Danni Glixman and Cassi Glixman have been named to the Jewish Sports Review All-America First-Team. The sisters were two of the four freshmen named to the team.

Danni led the Griffins in hitting with a .488 batting average and a team-high 43 RBI's. She earned SLIAC First-Team All-Conference honors as well as SLIAC Newcomer of the Year honors. Danni was also named to the NFCA First-Team All-Region.

Cassi hit .408 on the season with 30 RBI's and was also named to the SLIAC First-Team All-Conference. She earned NFCA Second-Team All-Region honors.

The Glixman sisters led Fontbonne to a 27-12 record, a SLIAC regular-season championship, SLIAC Tournament championship and a berth in the NCAA Division III Tournament.
