Dentlinger Sets Tigers Three Point Mark
Alex Dentlinger (SO/New London, IA), a sophomore from New London, IA was able to break a school record on Saturday. The Tigers were on the road to Blackburn College in Carlinville, IL for a SLIAC match-up to open up 2020 play. Dentlinger was able to sink 11 3-pointers, breaking the old school record of 9 3-pointers made in one game. The previous record was set by Jared Callanan in 2010.
Dentlinger scored a career-high 36 points for IW on Saturday to lead the Tigers, 28 of which were in the second half of the game. He was also able to record five rebounds, a blocked shot, one steal, and an assist.
