Six Named to NABC Honors Court

Six men's basketball players were honored by the National Association of Basketball Coaches to the 2019-20 NABC Honors Court, which recognizes individuals for the success in the classroom over the season.

Eureka had three representatives earn honors. Ethan Zulz, a senior Art & Digital Media Design major; Kyler Stork, a senior Business Administration/Sport Management major; and Chris Daniels, a junior Business Administration major.

The NABC recognized more than 1,350 men's collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the past season. The NABC Honors Court highlights the talents and gifts that these men possess on the court and the hard work they exhibit in the classroom. 

From Principia College, TreVaughn Goodman, a senior majoring in Educational Studies, and Daniel Hoffman, a junior majoring in Sustainability and Global Studies, were named to the Honors Court.

Elijah Macias, from Webster University, was recognized as a junior majoring in Business Administration. 

In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must meet a high standard of academic criteria. The qualifications are as follows: Academically a junior or senior and a varsity player, cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2019-20 academic year, students must have matriculated at least one year at their current institution, member of a NCAA Division I, II, III, or NAIA Division I or II institution with an NABC member coach.
