Men's Basketball Player of the Week
 

Dakota Bennington, Eureka College

Bennington, a senior from Peoria, Illinois, closes out his collegiate career with another weekly award. The guard averaged 27.0 points and 6.5 rebounds in two games for the Red Devils last week. He put up 44 points in the season finale against Greenville, going 19-of-26 from the field while adding 8 rebounds and 2 steals. On the week Bennington shot 56-percent from the field. 

Women's Basketball Player of the Week
 

Addison Beussink, Webster University

Beussink, a sophomore from Jackson, Mo., picks up the final Women's Basketball Player of the Week award of the season after averaging 20.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in two wins last week. Beussink put up 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 blocked shots against Eureka and followed with 23 points and 8 rebounds against Iowa Wesleyan. On the week she shot 65-percent from the field and added three assists and two steals. 

Baseball Hitter of the Week  
 

Garrett Wilson, Spalding University

Wilson hit .583 for Spalding last week, helping the Golden Eagles to a pair of wins. The senior outfielder was 7-for-12 at the plate in three games, scoring five times and adding four stolen bases. The leadoff hitter reached base in all three games, totaling a .643 on-base percentage. He had a four-hit effort against Dubuque, the same game in which he recorded three stolen bases. Wilson also drove in two runs and struck out just twice while drawing one walk. 

Baseball Pitcher of the Week
 

Zach Jones, Spalding University

Jones receives the SLIAC Pitcher of the Week award after recording a six-inning shutout win over Dubuque. Jones, a junior from Louisville, Ky., threw 6 scoreless innings while allowing just three hits and one walk. He tallied 13 strikeouts in the win, striking out six of the first seven batters he faced.

Softball Hitter of the Week
 

Hannah Miener, Fontbonne University

Miener, a junior from Highland, Ill., hit .313 in four games for the Griffins last week, helping her team to a pair of wins. The infielder was 5-for-16 at the plate and finished with 2 home runs and 8 runs batted in while scoring four runs. Miener exploded for three hits in a win over Defiance, adding a home run and 4 RBI. The next day she again drove in four with a home run in the Griffins second win over Defiance. On the week Miener slugged .813 with four of her five hits going for extra bases.

Softball Pitcher of the Week
 

Arianna Arias, Webster University

Arias, a sophomore from Pomona, Calif., picked up a complete-game shutout win over Centre. She limited her opponent to just 3 hits while working 5 innings, striking out one and walking none.

Men's Field Athlete of the Week
 

Nate Brown, Greenville University

Brown, from Altamont, Ill., had a strong showing for the Panthers at the NCCAA Indoor Championships last weekend. He placed 2nd in the weight throw with a distance of 53'1" and added a 10th place showing in the shot put.

Men's Track Athlete of the Week  
 

Dylan Goodyear, Greenville University

Goodyear claimed a pair of 3rd place finishes at last weekend's NCAA Indoor Championships. He had a lifetime best time of 8:49.78 in the 3,000 meter race, coming in 3rd. He also anchored the Distance Medley Relay where the Panthers finished with a third place time of 10:42.92.

Women's Field Athlete of the Week  
 

Cayden Sharp, Greenville University

Sharp, a sophomore, was named the Field Athlete of the Meet at the NCCAA Indoor Championships. She picked up 1st place in both the Pentathlon and Triple Jump and 2nd place in the Long Jump. Sharp tied the school pentathlon record in the high jump and broke the mark int he 60-meter hurdles. Her triple jump distance of 35'5" was over a foot better than her previous career-best distance.

Women's Track Athlete of the Week  
 

Minnell Fundora, Webster University

Fundora set a new personal best and school record in the mile at last weekend's Missouri Collegiate Challenge. She finished with a time of 5:21.39, finishing 7th overall. She also ran the second leg of the 4x400 relay, which the Gorloks finished in 2nd place with a time of 4:17.

  • Chanz Aldridge, Blackburn College (Men's Basketball) Helped led Blackburn back to the postseason, averaging 26.0 points in two must-win games last week including a 20 point, 11 assist outing against Greenville.
  • Braxten Ary, Eureka College (Baseball) Recorded three hits and three stolen bases in his teams 5-2 win over Edgewood.
  • Anthony Clark, MacMurray College (Baseball) Struck out 8 in 7 innings against Illinois College.
  • Ashley Harfst, Eureka College (Women's Basketball) Recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, adding 3 steals and 3 assists, against Webster.
  • Landon Harrison, Westminster College (Men's Basketball) Averaged 21.0 points and 11.5 rebounds in two games for the Blue Jays.
  • Luke Meixner, Fontbonne University (Baseball) Hit his first home run as a Griffin, a grand slam, in a win over Cornell. 
  • Matt Mulhearn, Webster University (Baseball) Limited Transylvania to just 3 hits in 8 innings of work.
  • Daisha Reece, Webster University (Women's Track and Field) Placed 1st in the long jump and 2nd in the high jump at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge.
  • Rylee Stafford, Fontbonne University (Women's Basketball) Scored her 1,000th career point in a win over Iowa Wesleyan.
  • Abby Stotler, MacMurray College (Women's Basketball) Averaged 18.0 points in two games while shooting 71-percent from the field.
  • Luke Summers, Fontbonne University (Baseball) Struck out 9 in a 6 inning win over Cornell. 
  • Joe Swanson, Webster University (Baseball) Had three multi-hit games for the Gorloks, hitting .538 in three games last week.
  • Enrique Tankins, Webster University (Men's Basketball) Averaged 17.0 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists in two wins for the Gorloks.
  • J.D. Theile, Eureka College (Baseball) Picked up a win over Millsaps, working 7 innings and allowing no runs and just three hits while striking out 7.
  • Brian Tribble, Spalding University (Men's Basketball) Finished with 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists in a win over Westminster.
  • Trevor Voss, MacMurray College (Men's Basketball) Scored 38 points against Principia.
