Men's Basketball Player of the Week
 

Ethan Thompson, Westminster College

Thompson paced the Blue Jays to a 96-84 road win over Eureka last weekend, putting up 35 points in being named the SLIAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week. Thompson netted his game-high 35 points on 12-of-18 shooting; connecting on 10 three-pointers. His 10 three-point field goals tied a program record. Thompson also added 5 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal in the game. The sophomore from Columbia, Mo. is currently averaging 15.8 points per game this season and has reached 30 points in two of his last three games.

Women's Basketball Player of the Week
 

Abbie Reece, Westminster College

Reece, a sophomore from Cape Girardeau, Mo., is the SLIAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week after a double-double effort in a conference win over Eureka. The forward scored 29 points with 12 rebounds in the road win, going 12-of-20 from the field. Reece also added 5 assists, 1 steal, and 1 blocked shot in the game. She is currently averaging 11.9 points and 5.3 rebounds per game this season.
