Dorethy's Record Night Leads Highlanders to Win

BOX SCORE

Just four days after the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference single-game scoring record, a record that stood for 18 years, was broken; Logan Dorethy topped the feat with his own record-breaking performance. Dorethy put up 56 points in a 164-156 win over Greenville University, setting a new SLIAC mark.

Dorethy, a sophomore from Hamilton, Illinois, tallied his record-setting 56 points in just 30 minutes of action on Wednesday night. He finished 25-of-31 from the field, also setting the conference record for field goals made in a game; breaking the previous mark of 24 which he set last year.

In addition Dorethy added 18 rebounds in the game. He is currently averaging 20.7 points and 9.6 rebounds per game this season while shooting 60-percent from the field. MacMurray is 4-8 overall and 2-3 in the SLIAC.
