Four Named To Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-District

Four players from the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference have been named to the 2018 Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-District team. Matt Harper, Jimi Keating, Blake Strebler, and Garrett Wilson all received academic honors this spring. 

Harper, Keating, and Wilson are all members of the Spalding University baseball squad and received recognition in District 2. Harper, a junior infielder, holds a 4.00 grade-point average while majoring in Accounting and Business Administration. He hit .328 this year with 5 home runs and 34 RBI. Keating, a senior pitcher, is majoring in Special Education with a 3.75 G.P.A. and was named the 2018 SLIAC Co-Pitcher of the Year after going 9-1 on the mound with a 2.38 earned-run average and 107 strikeouts. Wilson, a sophomore outfielder, hit .460 with 27 RBI and 32 stolen bases this season to earn 2018 SLIAC Player of the Year honors. He is a Business Administration major with a G.P.A. of 3.83. 

Blake Strebler is a senior infielder for Westminster College and holds a 3.90 G.P.A. while majoring in Business Administration and Sports Management. He hit .364 this spring with 5 home runs and 22 runs batted in while earning Second Team All-Conference honors.
