Blackburn's Shipley Reaches 1,000 Career Points

CARLINVILLE, Ill. – Blackburn College senior forward Sierra Shipley of Waukegan, Ill., scored 12 points Thursday, February 3, to surpass the 1,000 career point total as a member of the Beavers women's basketball program.

Blackburn defeated Principia 65-61 in the process. Shipley is the tenth player in Blackburn Women's Basketball history to record 1,000 points in a career.
