Eisenauer Hired as Principia Volleyball Head Coach

Rich Eisenauer has been hired in the Athletics Department as the head coach for volleyball. His knowledge of the sport is extensive and he is an experienced teacher and coach who has had ties to the program for decades.

Eisenauer started coaching volleyball in 1978 as an assistant at his high school for the varsity and JV girls. After transferring to Principia College, he became a student assistant (1980–82) and then after graduating in 1983 he became the full-time assistant. Eisenauer also coached the Principia's Middle School team from 2002–2009 and then moved to the High School varsity team from 2010–2015. He has also helped with a number of summer player development camps. For the past year Eisenauer has been recruiting for the volleyball team and has put together what looks to be a great team.

"I am so pleased Rich Eisenauer has stepped forward to lead the women's volleyball program. Rich is a talented educator who cares deeply about our students. I am confident the program will flourish with Rich's guidance," Pierson said.

The Athletics Department is very pleased to have Rich Eisenauer join the team and we look forward to this volleyball season.
