SLIAC Trio Earn Team Academic Honors, Webster on Honor Roll

Three programs from the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference have earned Team Academic honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association. Fontbonne University, Greenville University, and Webster University are among the over 1,200 programs across all collegiate divisions and the high school level to earn the honor this past academic year. Partnering with the United States Marine Corps, the award, initiated in the 1992–93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale.

Webster finished the academic year with a cumulative grade point average of 3.63 which ranks them in the top 20% of all Division III women's volleyball programs, earning them a spot on the Honor Roll. This marks the 14th straight season that the Webster University volleyball team has been recognized with the Team Academic Award and the 16th time overall. It is also the third time in program history that they have been recognized on the Honor Roll.

Fontbonne University receives its 7th Team Academic award in program history, its 6th in the last eight years.

Greenville University is making its 11th appearance on the Team Academic award list including its fourth consecutive appearance.
