Greenville Receives Pair of All-American Performances

The Greenville University men's track and field team received a pair of All-American performances this weekend at the 2023 NCAA Division III Championships. 

Carson Rantanen and C.J. Anderson earned the honor after competing in the 100-meter dash. Rantanen finished 3rd overall with a time of 10.35 seconds while Anderson placed 5th with a time of 10.42 seconds. Both times are personal bests with Rantanen's time being the second fastest in SLIAC history.

The pair became the first SLIAC All-Americans since 2019 when Corey Carter (Principia College), Jeremiah Davis (Greenville University), and Jacob Ridenhour (Webster University) swept the 200-meter dash. 

Also competing this weekend was Dylan Webster, from Greenville, who finished 10th in the high jump with a height of 6'7.5". In addition, the relay team of Chase LaTouche, Carson Rantanen, Kourtland Harris, and C.J. Anderson finished 10th in the 4x100 with a time of 41.02 seconds.
