Mental Health and Wellness: Attitude of Gratitude

Mental Health and Wellness: Attitude of Gratitude

Mental Health and Wellness is a growing concern, particularly in the time of a pandemic. This past spring the NCAA launched a new Mental Health and Wellness campaign to serve as a platform for student-athletes, administrators, coaches, staff, and support networks across the country. The campaign was started to begin a discussion, speak out on, and break the stigma surrounding mental health.

In conjunction with the NCAA's year-long campaign, the SLIAC will be releasing weekly talks with Dr. Dawn Graff-Haight over the next few weeks. Our goal is to not only provide a starting point to begin talks on mental health and wellness but to offer tips and ways to cope with numerous issues.

This session talks about having an Attitude of Gratitude. We take a look at the power of positive thinking including the art of acceptance and how to master reframing and optimism.
