Michael Speck, Spalding University Speck, a sophomore, helped Spalding to a 3-1 record during the last week of the regular season. The outfielder hit .583 on the week, driving in seven and scoring four times while swiping two bases. He had a hit in all four games including a 3-for-3 performance in game three of his series against Fontbonne. Three of Speck's seven hits on the week were doubles, adding one home run. |

Matt Mulhearn, Webster University The senior hurler became the SLIAC career leader in wins with his victory over Iowa Wesleyan. Mulhearn threw a complete game, working 9 innings and allowing no earned runs and five hits. He struck out 13, marking his third consecutive double-digit strikeout performance and sixth overall this season. Mulhearn now has 31 career victories, both a conference and program record. |
