Finch, a four-year starter for the Panthers volleyball team, majored in English Lanuage Arts in Secondary Education, carrying a 3.99 grade-point average. Finch plans on pursuing a Masters Degree in English as Second Language with the goal of earning a doctorate in American Studies with an emphasis on Education. She will go down as one of the best in the SLIAC to step on the volleyball court, being a four-time First Team All-Conference selection, and the 2019 SLIAC Player of the Year.

Established in 2002, the SLIAC Post-Graduate Scholarship is awarded each spring to one male and one female graduating student-athlete from a conference member school. Student-athletes are nominated by their institution's Faculty Athletics Representative (FAR), must have earned two varsity letters in a sport in which the Conference sponsors a Championship and have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale). Scholarship recipients are selected through a vote of the Conference FARs and receive a $1000 scholarship to be used at some point during their first two years of postgraduate studies.
