SLIAC Players of the Week - February 15

Men's Field Athlete of the Week
   

Maurice Radtke, Greenville University

Radtke, a senior from Litchfield, Ill., notched a pair of top-three finishes during a dual meet against Illinois College. He took first place in the shot put and added a 3rd place finish in the weight throw. His winning throw in the shot put was 44'3", helping the Panthers top the host school 75-54 on the team score for the day.

 

Men's Track Athlete of the Week 

 
   

Quinn Heinbaugh, Principia College

Heinbaugh, a senior, put together a perfect race in the 800-meter event at last week's TRX Meet. He finished with a winning time of 2:00.34, winning by nearly 7-seconds over the next closest finisher. That mark also places him tops in the conference this season and is a new personal best time.

 

Women's Field Athlete of the Week

 
   

Abby Holt, Principia College

Holt, a sophomore, took 1st place in the high jump at last weekend's TRX Meet. She recorded a winning height of 4'11.75", which also places her tops in the conference this season.

Alexa Seger, Greenville University

Seger, a sophomore from Marine, Ill., had two top-three finishes last weekend. She took home 1st place in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.11 seconds; setting a new personal record. She also finished 3rd in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.78 seconds. 

 

Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week

 
 

Alexis Wolf, Webster University

Wolf, making her collegiate debut, led the Gorloks with 9 kills in a sweep of rival Fontbonne. The freshman right-side hitter from Quincy, Ill., hit .368 in the match with nine kills on 19 attempts. She also added three digs and totaled nine points in the match.

 
Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week
   

Erica Schrader, Westminster College

Schrader, a junior libero from Imperial, Mo., helped lead the Blue Jays to a pair of wins on the weekend. She averaged 4.13 digs per set over the two matches, totaling 33 digs on the week. She had a high of 20 digs against Fontbonne. Schrader also added four assists and two aces during the week.

  • Anna Finch, Greenville University - Tallied 15 kills, hitting .682, in a win over Eureka.
  • Hannah Gallagher, Fontbonne University - Recorded a double-double in two matches last week including 18 kills and 14 digs against Westminster.
  • Kyra Gensel, Webster University - Totaled 18 digs in a win over Fontbonne.
  • Chasity Hill, Greenville University - Averaged 5.17 digs per set in two wins last week.
  • Rachel Kelly, Fontbonne University - Set a school record in the pole vault with a mark of 8'1.25".
  • Haley Menke, Westminster College - Notched a pair of double-digit kill outings including 15 in a win over Blackburn.
  • Jenna Murphy, Iowa Wesleyan University - Finished with 20 digs in just three sets against Spalding.
  • Jeremiah Perry, Greenville University - Took 1st place in the 3,000-meter run and added a 2nd place showing in the mile.
  • Emma Pramik, Fontbonne University - Totaled 32 digs in two matches last week.
  • Sarah Richards, Spalding University - Finished with 26 digs in a win over Eureka.
  • Emme Schaefer, Principia College - Set a personal record in the mile run while putting up a SLIAC best time this season.
  • Mujahid Smith, Fontbonne University - Recorded a pair of personal best finishes; in the 60-meter and 200-meter dash.
  • Mya Summers, Spalding University - Recorded a double-double with 32 assists and 17 digs in a win over Eureka.
  • Anna Takano, Fontbonne University - Broke a school record in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.31 seconds.
