Zac Ciesla - Webster University Ciesla, a senior at Webster University, takes home SLIAC Men's Golf Player of the Week honors for September 11. Ciesla, from Lake Charles, La., tied for first at the Tim Kopka Memorial Tournament last weekend. He finished with a two-round score of 137, finishing five under par. Ciesla shot rounds of 69 and 68. |

Julia Echikson - Grinnell College Julia Echikson used a career-best weekend to pick up SLIAC Women's Golf Player of the Week honors. Echikson, a senior at Grinnell College, placed 17th at the Wartburg College Fall Invite in a field of 107 golfers. She carded back-to-back career-best rounds starting with an opening-round 77, besting her previous low by two strokes. She closed out the tournament with a 75, giving her a score of 152 for the event. |
