Jack Dwyer - Lake Forest College

Jack Dwyer claims the SLIAC Men's Golf Player of the Week for September 18. Dwyer, a freshman from Leawood, Kan., was the top finisher for Lake Forest at the Midwest Region Classic. He shot a two-round score of 156, finishing in a tie for 42nd place in the field of 192. Dwyer lowered his score by four strokes from the first round, highlighted by a pair of birdies in the second round. 

     
Women's Golf Player of the Week
   

Amanda Lee - Lake Forest College

Amanda Lee is the first Lake Forest golfer to take home the SLIAC Women's Golf Player of the Week during the 2019 season. The junior from Skokie, Illinois helped her team to a pair of tournament wins last week. Individually Lee finished in the top three at both events including a 1st place spot in the Elmhurst Invite. She began her week with a 3rd place finish in the Marian Invite, carding a two-round 173; bettering her second-round total by 11 strokes. Lee followed with a 76 in the Elmhurst Invite, topping a field of 23 players.

  • Teresa Diez-Dorta, Iowa Wesleyan University (Women's Golf) Took 1st at the Graceland Invite with a 76, besting a field of 33 golfers.
  • Camron Mack, Iowa Wesleyan University (Men's Golf) Recorded a hole-in-one at the War at the Moor, finishing with an 80.
