Diamond Sports Baseball Hitter of the Week  
 

Adam Lovell, Webster University

Lovell had a busy week for the Gorloks, hitting .444 while scoring 9 runs and driving in 4 last week. He finished with a .615 on-base percentage, boosted by his five walks, and added seven stolen bases. Lovell was 9-for-18 at the plate, recording a hit in four of his five games including a four-hit outing against Washington & Jefferson.

Luke Summers, Fontbonne University

Summers picks up his second straight weekly award after notching a complete-game win over Principia. Summers worked 7 innings in the conference contest, allowing just two hits while striking out 13. He walked just three batters and tied his season-high in strikeouts.

Softball Hitter of the Week
 

Adrianna Zeman, Eureka College

Zeman, a junior from LaSalle, Illinois, led the Red Devils to five wins last week; hitting .522 while driving in 7 and scoring 8 times. She had a hit in six of seven games on the week, with four multi-hit games. Her best performance was a 4-for-5 game against Dean in which she scored 4 times and drove in 4 runs. On the week she finished 12-of-23 at the plate, with a .577 on-base percentage.

Softball Pitcher of the Week
 

Erin Smith, Eureka College

Smith, from Dunlap, Illinois, claims the Pitcher of the Week after recording a 0.76 earned-run average in four appearances for the Red Devils. Smith worked 18 1/3 innings in the circle, allowing just two earned runs while picking up one win and one save. Smith struck out 8 batters on the week, walking just one. Her win came against Lycoming, going 6 innings and allowing no runs on 7 hits with 3 strikeouts.

Men's Tennis Player of the Week
 

Riley Muren, Webster University

Muren rolls off his third weekly award after recording a 5-1 combined record last week for the Gorloks. Muren, from O'Fallon, Missouri, was 3-0 in singles play and 2-1 in doubles action. Playing at #1 singles he rolled off wins over FDU-Florham, Gettysburg, and Penn State-Behrend. Along with his teammate Austin Nation, he added doubles wins over Gettysburg and Penn State-Behrend.

Women's Tennis Player of the Week  
 

Emma Ferguson, Webster University

Ferguson, from Troy, Missouri, won five of her six matches on the week including going undefeated in singles play. She came from behind to top Cairn 4-6, 6-2, 10-7 and then followed with wins over Gettysburg and Sweet Briar. Ferguson added doubles wins over Cairn and Gettysburg with partner Alyssa Tourville.

  • Connor Allen, MacMurray College (Baseball) Hit .545 in three games for the Highlanders.
  • Sean Beaver, Webster University (Baseball) Recorded 8 strikeouts in 5 innings of work against Keene State.
  • Avery Boccella, Webster University (Softball) Went 3-for-3 with 2 runs scored in a win over Massachusetts-Dartmouth. 
  • Meka Elmore, MacMurray College (Softball) Hit .500 with 11 runs batted in during six games for the Highlanders.
  • Drew Frey, Greenville University (Baseball) Went 4-for-5 with 4 runs scored and 2 RBI in a win over Oneonta.
  • Adam Holm, Blackburn College (Baseball) Went 7-for-12 with 6 RBI in three games for the Beavers.
  • Luke Meixner, Fontbonne University (Baseball) Recorded five hits in a doubleheader against Principia.
