Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
 

Kornell Hilliard, Spalding University

The senior forward captures his 4th weekly award this season after putting up back-to-back hat-tricks for the Golden Eagles last week. Hilliard, from Louisville, Ky., recorded 3 goals and 1 assist in a win over Eureka. He followed that with 3 more goals, on just four shots on goal, in a win over Blackburn. Hilliard leads all SLIAC players this season with 17 goals and 41 total points.

 

Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
 

Trevor Massa, Spalding University

Massa closes out the regular season as the Defensive Player of the Week, his fourth award this season. The sophomore keeper recorded 8 saves in two conference wins last week, finishing with a .800 save percentage and a 1.11 goals-against average. He had a high of 5 saves in a victory over Blackburn.

Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week 
 

Melissa Kasper, Webster University

Kasper closes out her collegiate career with a second straight weekly honor, giving her three for the season. The forward from Oswego, Illinois put up 1 goal and 4 assists in two conference wins last week. She tied a school record by assisting on four of her team's six goals against Principia, further extending her program career assist record. Kasper closed out the regular season by scoring the game-winner against Greenville, securing a share of the SLIAC regular-season title. 

Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
 

Taryn Banfield, Webster University

Banfield, a freshman, picks up her 3rd Defensive Player of the Week award this fall after helping the Gorloks to a pair of shutout wins against conference opponents. The goalkeeper from Plano, Texas stopped all 7 shots she faced during the week. In all, she played 180 minutes in net and extends her shutout streak to over 402 minutes. She had a high of 4 saves in a win against Principia.

Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week 
 

Kamryn Flesner, MacMurray College

Flesner collects her 5th Player of the Week honor this season. The sophomore outside hitter totaled 46 kills in three matches, averaging 4.60 per set. She hit .219 on the week and added four aces and 36 digs. Flesner had a high of 18 kills in a win over Principia and led the Highlanders to a sweep of Westminster, picking up 17 kills, the program's first win over the Blue Jays since 2005.

 

Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week 
 

Carissa Smith, MacMurray College

Smith, a junior defensive specialist, wins her second weekly award this season. She averaged 7.70 digs per set on the week, totaling 77 digs in three matches. Smith had a high of 35 digs against Greenville and topped 20 digs in all three matches. She set a new program record with 676 digs this season.

  • Rebecca Bass, Fontbonne University (Women's Soccer) Tallied 3 goals in two games last week including one game-winner while adding one assist.
  • Dori Emig, Spalding University (Women's Soccer) Finished with 2 goals and 2 assists in a win over Eureka.
  • Kristen Farrah, Webster University (Volleyball) Set a new Webster record with 1,932 career digs.
  • Paige Kammerer, Iowa Wesleyan University (Volleyball) Had 11 aces combined in two matches on the final day of the season.
  • Xavier Lozada, Iowa Wesleyan University (Men's Soccer) Tallied a pair of game-winning goals for the Tigers last week, finishing with 2 goals and 1 assist in three games.
  • Jenna Murphy, Iowa Wesleyan University (Volleyball) Recorded 36 digs against Webster, averaging 6.57 per set on the week.
  • Kate Ponder, Westminster College (Women's Soccer) Had back-to-back two-goal games, totaling 9 points on the week.
  • Jordan Price, Webster University (Volleyball) Hit .456 on the week with a high of 15 kills against Iowa Wesleyan.
  • Maura Rabun, Fontbonne University (Volleyball) Had a career-high 18 kills against Blackburn.
  • Amanda Roberts, Principia College (Volleyball) Averaged 7.00 digs per set in three conference matches last week.
  • Cheleena Squib, Iowa Wesleyan University (Women's Soccer) Made 28 saves in three games last week with a high of 11 against Greenville.
