Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
 

Justin Gerdiman, Westminster College

A junior from Camdenton, Mo., Gerdiman netted a pair of game-winners for the Blue Jays last week. He tallied the game-winner in a 2-1 decision against MacMurray, burying the goal at the 17-minute mark. He also chipped in with an assist on the first goal of the game. Three days later he tallied both goals of his team's 2-0 win over Fontbonne; scoring in the 30th and 49th minutes. On the week Gerdiman recorded 3 goals and 1 assist for 7 points on eight shots in two games.

 

Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
 

Nick Holland, Greenville University

Holland, a senior from Ajax, Ontario, lifted Greenville to a 2-1 win over Spalding last week. The netminder made four saves in the contest including a stop on a penalty kick in the final five minutes of the contest to secure the Panthers' victory. 

Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week 
 

Melissa Kasper, Webster University

Kasper, a senior from Oswego, Ill., put her name in the Webster record books with a huge two-game effort. Kasper totaled 1 goal and 5 assists in two conference wins last week. She netted a goal and added two assists in a 3-0 win over Blackburn. She followed that by assisting on all three of the Gorloks' goals in their 3-0 win over MacMurray. With her five assists, she now has 50 career assists, setting a new school record. 

 

Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
 

Sarah Cradick, Westminster College

Cradick remains red hot as she picks up her 2nd straight SLIAC Defensive Player of the Week award and 3rd overall. Cradick extended her shutout streak to five games with two more shutouts last week. She picked up a win in net over MacMurray, winning 4-0 and followed by blanking Fontbonne with a 0-0 double-overtime game, making 10 saves in the tie. She leads all SLIAC goalkeepers this season in save percentage and is third in goals against average.

Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week 
 

Kamryn Flesner, MacMurray College

Flesner notches her 4th weekly award this season, capturing this week's honor after recording 77 kills in four matches and setting a new MacMurray record. Flesner hit .368 on the week, averaging 5.13 kills per set. She had three straight matches of 20 or more kills, topping off with 27 against Illinois College. The next day, against Iowa Wesleyan, Flesner set a new Highlander single-season mark for kills and currently has 451 this season to lead the SLIAC. She also added 42 digs and 8 total blocks on the week, averaging 5.5 points per set.

Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week 
 

Kristen Farrah, Webster University

Farrah, a junior from St. Charles, Mo., wins her 4th weekly award this season. The defensive specialist recorded 83 digs over three matches for the Gorloks last week, averaging 7.55 per set. She had a high of 37 digs against Greenville and moves to within 59 digs of setting the new school record for career assists. She also added 14 assists and two service aces while extending her double-digit dig streak to 59 matches.

  • Rae Andrews, Fontbonne University (Volleyball) Recorded three double-doubles last week, averaging 3.6 kills and 3.5 digs per set over four matches.
  • Lily Brauer, Webster University (Women's Soccer) Helped Gorlok defense limit opponents to just three shots in two games last week.
  • Anna Finch, Greenville University (Volleyball) Finished with 21 kills and 6 blocks in a win over Webster, hitting .406 on the week.
  • Justin Kohler, Webster University (Men's Soccer) Tallied 3 goals in two games for the Gorloks.
  • Samantha Kruse, Webster University (Volleyball) Tallied 15 kills and 19 digs against Greenville.
  • Napolean Urquidi, Greenville University (Men's Soccer) Scored both goals in his team's 2-1 win over Spalding.
