This week's SLIAC Players of the Week are Caitlin Carney, from Principia College; Jakara Davidson-Brooks, from Webster University; Alyson Hahn, from Westminster College; Jonathan Hoevelmann, from Fontbonne University; Daniel Kaiser, from Spalding University; Jimi Keating, from Spalding University; Nat Kenworthy, from Principia College; Becca Oldham, from Greenville College; and Meredith Sowers, from Webster University.

SLIAC/DIAMOND SPORTS HITTER OF THE WEEK - APRIL 17 This week's SLIAC/Diamond Sports Baseball Hitter of the Week is Jonathan Hoevelmann from Fontbonne University. Hoevelmann, a sophomore from St. Louis, Mo., was nearly unstoppable at the plate; finishing with a .800 batting average over three games. He went 12-of-15 at the plate with seven runs scored, sparking a Griffin offense that reached double-digit runs in all three games. Hoevelmann's best day was a 5-for-6 performance against Westminster, crossing the plate three times. |

SLIAC/DIAMOND SPORTS PITCHER OF THE WEEK - APRIL 17 Jimi Keating is the SLIAC/Diamon Sports Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season. Keating, a junior from Bardstown Ky., led Spalding to a 1-0 win over Webster University. He worked nine scoreless innings, allowing just four hits while striking out 13 and walking only one batter. Keating currently ranks 5th in NCAA Division III strikeouts and 9-0 on the season. |

SLIAC SOFTBALL HITTER OF THE WEEK - APRIL 17 Becca Oldham led Greenville to four conference wins last week, hitting .650 with four home runs and 11 runs batted in. Oldham, a junior from Greenville, Ill., put together four multi-hit games on the week and finished with an on-base percentage of .652 and a .1300 slugging percentage. She was 13-of-20 at the plate with five runs scored on the week. Her best day was a doubleheader against Spalding in which she went 6-for-8 with a home run and four RBI. |

SLIAC SOFTBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK - APRIL 17 Alyson Hahn in the SLIAC Softball Pitcher of the Week for April 17 after picking up two wins in three starts. Hahn notched wins over Principia and Webster last week, both complete game shutouts. She also went 6 2/3 innings against Fontbonne, striking out 11 while allowing two earned runs earlier in the week. On the week she held a 0.71 earned-run average and struck out 24 batters in 19 2/3 innings pitched. |

SLIAC WOMEN'S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK - APRIL 17 Principia College's Caitlin Carney went undefeated in six conference outings last week, playing at #3 singles and #1 doubles. Carney edged out her rival Webster for a 7-5, 7-6 (5) win, and added identical 6-0, 6-1 scores in her other two singles matches. Carney tacked on three more wins in doubles, teaming with Paige Cooley. |

- Brianna Anderson, Greenville College (Softball) Anderson tallied her first career no-hitter, allowing no hits and striking out three in a win over Greenville.
- Ed Bargman, Principia College (Baseball) Bargman hit .476 with six runs scored over five games last week, including three multi-hit games.
- Eric Bateman, Webster University (Men's Tennis) Bateman notched five wins last week including a conference win at #6 singles over Westminster College.
- Kam Bruner, Spalding University (Baseball) Bruner hit .667 last week helping the Golden Eagles to a pair of conference wins over Webster.
- Kali George, Eureka College (Softball) George recorded three wins last week, with a 1.65 earned-run average.
- Courtney Kedroski, Fontbonne University (Softball) Kedroski hit .529 with 12 runs batted in while leading the Griffins to five conference victories last week.
- Stephanie Lass, Webster University (Women's Tennis) Lass went 4-0 last week and has now won 10 of her last 11 singles matches and 9 of her last 10 doubles matches.
- Brandon Smith, Webster University (Baseball) Smith came on in relief in the Gorloks 5-3 win over #16 ranked Washingon University-St. Louis, working 3 2/3 innings of scoreless, one-hit ball while striking out six.
- Cory Steinhart, MacMurray College (Baseball) Steinhart tossed a no-hitter for MacMurray in a win over Robert Morris, allowing just one walk over seven innings while striking out nine.
- Nate Wieland, Greenville College (Men's Tennis) Wieland went 5-1 on the week including a 6-1, 6-0 win at #1 singles over Franklin College.
- Shane Witters-Hicks, Principia College (Men's Track and Field) Witters-Hicks placed second in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville meet.
