Nine Blue Jays Named NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete

The Westminster College women's softball team placed nine student-athletes on the Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-America Scholar Athlete list. Student-athletes must achieve a 3.5 or better GPA on a 4.0 scale during the spring term to be announced as a Scholar Athlete. 

The nine student-athletes are: junior Anne Baker of Mexico, Mo., junior Erica Burney of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., junior Alyson Hahn of St. Louis, Mo., junior Brittany Hodge of Swansea, Ill., sophomore Leah Holthaus of Cottonwood, Idaho, junior Alyssa Johnson of Midlothian, Ill., junior Madison McKindley of Green Park, Mo., sophomore Kim Morrison of Buffalo, Mo., and senior Shannon Perrigo of Tebbetts, Mo.

The NFCA Academic Awards program honors both collegiate and high school teams and individual student-athletes for their submitted team GPA's for the academic year.
